water leaking in cabin when Im washing my viper??? WTF??

whats up everyone,

why does water seep in my viper. From the inside top of the windshield? When Im washing my car?? It drips from the top inside windshield and lands on my shifter boot?? Is the outer windshield seal bad? Cuz I cant I cant imagine if its raining when Im out in my viper....

Interestingly enough I was reading the Viper Buyers Guide last night and the problem you mentioned was common on the 96/97 GTS. The problem is where the roof meets the windshield frame, not the windshield gasket itself.

Mine leaks just a few drops as well. Actually it has only done it this last time I washed it a few days ago.

My 97gts had done the same. it was covered under the warranty at the dealership.
They have to send the car out to the glass shop so they can pull out the windshield and remount it. The job took about a full day.
