Im tall. Will I fit?

Hello all! I am new to the forum and would like to commend every for keeping such a nice site. I am already learning a lot about the car of my dreams and my dreams are about to become a reality because I am now in a position financially where I can purchase one of these beasts. Only issue is that I am 6'7 I was looking at the interior specs and it seems that the Viper is not the biggest on the inside! Are there any other tall Viper owners out there or are you all a bunch of midgets? j/k

You would need a 2 inch seat lowering kit for starters. There are a couple of owners that are near or as tall as you, hopefully they will chime in.

You could always get an RT/10 and drive without the roof on. Be prepared to taste some bugs though. It would help if you specified which style Viper you are interested in.

Yea the lowering kit sounds like it would definitely help. Sorry. I am wanting to purchase a 1994 RT/10.

My recommendation would be to try to hook up with another Viper owner in your area who has lowered the seat. Sit in one and make your decision.

I dont own one, but have driven a SRT-10 and it's a very tight fit (head room wise)...im 6'6" also....I think the lowering seat is a very good idea for someone our size

This pic is of Kenny (SUN RA CAT) He is your height and has no problems driving his GTS. He did install a 2 inch lowering kit.

I am 6 2 with the stock seats and don't feel cramped at all. The only thing that bugs me once in a while is my left knee sometimes hits the steering wheel. Nothing earth shattering.

Sweet! Now all I need to do is find a 94 RT/10. I already got my insurance quote, which happens to be much lower than I anticipated. 130.00 per month, not bad from someone that just turned 23 ay?

I'm 6' 5" 260 and have a 94rt. Get a 2" kit and you will be fine.

I'm 6'3 and don't have the seat lowered. However my RT is never driven with a roof on

and my left knee does take a bit of a beating.

I have the 2" seat lowering kit, but I also had the front of the seats raised 1 1/2" for thigh support and more leg room. I can wear a racing helmet and even put it on with me in the driver's seat. The only downside is that there is no room behind the seat back for a roll bar, which is required for my class in road racing (unlimited) and the dragstrip (NHRA rules).

I am 6'2" and have a 1" lowered seat. I have plenty of room in my 96 GTS, but there is no room to spare with the racing helmet on. I hope this helps.
