viper rear diff cover?

The vipers have a sort of Dana 44 aluminum housing right? Does anyone make a rear end cover for these?

The cover also has the mounting arms on it. There are no aftermarket covers. The stocker is aluminum and has the
viper logo on it.

so does it look anything like this rear end? (bolt pattern). its a Dana 44 aluminum out of a Grand Cherokee. i was eying the Taylor racing bearing caps that are for the vipers and the quaife limited slip they sell.

Re: viper rear diff cover?

well no dice with this one.

found a picture of your guys bolt pattern

still, i wonder if its possible if the quaife for the Super 44 will fit in the grands rear end.

For whatever reason our 5.9L and lifted 5.2L jeeps on big tires seem to chew up the Dana 44 rear ends big time. I only have 55k on my rear end, 12k of that is from me and the carrier bearings are already shot. I'm shooting for around stock viper horsepower by the time I put on my ported heads, cam and a medium sized nitrous shot. (125-150).
