I was reading another thread about financing and didn't want to hijack it. The subject came up about depreciation.

In my initial looks at prices I'm wondering about how the market has been on these cars. I'm seeing 96/97's (GTS's) in the $40K-$50K range pretty consistently. What's interesting is that the blue book pricing for retail even is $10K below that number. So, is what I'm seeing just people asking too much, or have these cars reached a plateau in their depreciation curve? I don't have the benefit of watching the prices historically, so I'm curious.

Same thing as the Supra world.....people ask to much..lol. Same reason why parts are so expensive. People keep paying them, so they keep raising them.

Blue and White factor , along with higher power and forged pistons. The red cars are a little less. Blue book is dead wrong and has been for years.

Blue book cannot accurately predict demand for such a limited product, which of course determines the street value.

Simple matter of supply and demand. As spray said blue book is wrong and has been for years...throw it out.

$40k - $50k is the price range I am seeing as well...
