any of you guys in IL with modded cars having trouble passing the emissions? i know my modded car with its exhaust won't pass, is there anything you guys have done to get around this or any suggestions you guys might have? i would really appreciate any input you may have, thank you very much.

Why do you feel it won't pass? Is the MIL on? If the light is not on and there are no codes stored it should pass regardless the exhaust system. There is a certain red Hennessy 650r running around here that runs so rich your eyes tear. After getting all of his driveavbility issues sorted out, he went in, and all they do is plug into the aldl with there computer, check for codes and CARB readiness and taddah it passed. They don't even shove the probe up the wazoo or run it on the rollers. This was a 1998 GTS and it passed just fine.

If the light is not on, take the chance and just take it in and get tested.
Worst that can happen is they give you a fail and than you have to try to get it fixed.
