MGW billet interior pieces?

So I'm doing all my shopping for my Viper while I am stuck here at sea; that way I will everything ready to install as soon as I get home...well, maybe not as soon as I get home. I have a few things to take care of with the girlfriend first :thumb: :thumb: But 30 seconds after I get home, I will be out in the Viper, adding new parts!
Are there any other posers that have the MGW glove box door? Anyone have a pic of it installed? I am thinking about getting one. The previous owner installed their shift knob, and I like it. I'm just a little concerned that the glove box door will be a little too much 'bling' and detract from the rest of the interior. Thanks guys.
Matt

I really like the MGW glove box door... I also have the ash tray and First Strike shifter. IMO, the AC knobs are too much, go figure!

Don't know if you can see much in this picture - try pulling it down, brightening it and enlarging, if you can't see much, but I think the extra pete in the cabin adds a lot (it's just like the one on the hood, so be sure to order the one that matches.) After putting this door on (get the cup holder too) the original door looks incredibly cheesy...

Thanks! I already have the knob, but I was considering the ashtray and glove box door. I also think the AC knobs are a little too much.

The glove box is nice but I liked the gas cap the best.

Re: MGW billet interior pieces?

I've got the climate control knobs, shifter, ashtray, cig. lighter plug and glove box.

They are all high, high quality pieces. But the glovebox, wow.

Re: MGW billet interior pieces?

The ashtray is really nice and also needed with the First Strike shift knob, as the shift pattern is on the ashtray (I get confused where reverse is between my Subaru WRX daily driver and wifee's VW TurboS - all different!)

I've got the glovebox door on my '01. Looks excellent and completely oe. Easy to install and has a very solid feel. Closes like a heavy car door. It's spozed to also work as a cup holder when left open...but I've never used that aspect.

Most folks think it's oe!

The satin ashtray is great because it shows you your shift pattern (like we all don't know it by heart!) You lose that pattern when you go to a first strike shifter knob... And by the way, why did MGW eliminate the color coordinated round shifter knob? I have one with the red sneaky pete logo in it (matches the car,) but now you can only get them in all aluminum (no color to pete at all!)

Matt...just get the damn door! You won't regret it!

No luck for you and the gas cap.....RT/10's need not apply.

I just watched Rick take a sawzall to another Viper exhaust, which was good fun...and the car sounds so much better with the Borla (NOT my car).

We are all gonna meet up again....maybe on "that" side of the water this time?

Fair winds...and all that!
