12 miles long, 160 bends/corners with cambers and banking, a few hundred feet difference between the lowest and highest parts of the track apprantly, with no run off just steel barriers 8ft from the track and then trees to slow you down
Wow! The trip of a lifetime, must have been awesome. Hopefully someday, I will take Euro delivery of another AMG and get to drive it. Great pics and cars
It was built by the order of Hitler to put employment into that area, at least he did something right. Its the track where Nicki Lauder lost his ears, this changed things for the circuit loosing all the big races.
If you ever make it to Germany, hire a car from the airport and do a few laps most days you can just turn up and pay on the gate, was speaking to guy from Toronto who did this. Bikes and cars run together so its not the safest of tracks, infact a biker died on track while we were there
