Hey Norm!
do you think it would have a chance against my Jet Ski you took out and had it pegged at 74 mph! You crazzy fuck!!!
Norm knows how to jet ski.!!. He had the damn jet ski's submerged and would do "wheelies" in the water.. What technique were you using? I tried the Homossasa squad level "1" revision cx-4. (inside joke)

Nuthin is as fast as that damn jet ski. I've never been that scared on the water before. Even in 15 Ft triple overhead surf, I've never been that frightened. And the submerging of the ski? well, that was just my fat asssss.
It doesn't matter what car it is...it matters who wins.
Back when I had my Talon Tsi AWD...I got that every time I spanked a vette, mustang or most any other car. :fist: Normally that is a ass line.
That evo, if it started next to the viper, would have handed the Snake it's ass.
It would have even looked worse from a standing start. The 4g63 motor is able to produce huge amounts of power for only 122ci. The stroker I think was a 2.3L kit (most common). Many 2.0 4g63's can make 400awhp on pump gas w/only bolt-ons (yes including stock internals, head, cams ect)....and still drive it everyday. I've been in a few 2.3 that have made close to 500awhp on pump gas. Make no mistake about it. If the motor is done right, it will hang with a mild moded viper and laugh all the way to the bank.
But, the viper mods start where the evo ends.

But it sure would be nice to have AWD. :thumb:
Wow, a Talon TSi AWD. You are a pimp. The money he spent on that car is very near what a used 96-97 GTS with a Heffner DIY TT kit would cost. Therefor, I am not impressed. Said GTS would not deem that EVO worthy of a race.
So just because it started 1/2 a car length behind it was unable to hand the Viper it's ass? If it was that much faster it should have blown by him.
You could jump on Ebay and pick up a 10K Grand National and put a few bucks in it and ass rape that Evo. Then at least you'd be driving a GN. I'm sure in a short amount of time that evo short block will look like yours.
One thing that everyone forgets to mention is that the EVO had 4 people in the car and the Viper hit it before the 3rd honk. We really didn't intend this to be a serious race, but since the video got posted from inside the Viper with that commentary, I guess we were all wrong. Was fun anyways, and was a very nice car! Heres the view from inside the EVO:
I like both cars - and in its element the Viper is king. And in its element - the EVO is king.
There's no shame in driving an evo - they are regarded (by experts) as the absolute quickest production car prom point A to point B on the AVERAGE road that people have to drive on in the WORLD i.e on twisty secondary highways they dork any supercar - Viper included.
My brother owns an Evo 8 with the export anti-yaw active suspension etc the USA version does not get. You could line it up against any Viper you want to modify and race it from my home town up the coast and I do not care how good a driver you are - assuming you did not throw the Viper off the road over a cliff or into the sea or onto rocks trying to hold the Evo - you would have a whole new respect for it - because even if you pulled it on the straights - on the bumpy and twisty turns he'd crawl over you and holeshot you with nothing you could do but wonder how the hell it could do that on skinny tires (compared to the Viper).
Of course - on Texas wide open roads - the above does not apply.
