THESE CARS ARE SICK, WE ARE ALL VERY FORTUNATE...

I decided to get out of the house for a few minutes. I jumped in the GTS and went for some fast food. It was a nice easy cruise into town. A/C was cold, tunes were blasting, exhaust was quiet. I pull up to the Sonic drivethru and get a couple of corndogs. On the way back home, I have a nice section of road open up so, of coarse, I nail it. A quick sprint to 170 and I'm good to go in the need for speed department. I ease through the neighborhood and pull into the garage. "I am thinking, these cars are absolutely awesome!! This should be illegal. I can't believe that a street car can do what this car does and keep all of it's stock manners."

I guess my point is, if your viper is making 450hp or 1450hp, you are part of a very unique club. We should be thankful that we are able to enjoy such great cars. That sounded pretty fucking sappy, but what can I say, I am feelin' emotional right now. Can I get a hug?

BTW,
Thanks Jason for building me a couple of kick ass street cars. These things are awesome! :thumb:

Vipers from gen 1 to 3 are all awesome cars!! I went to the burgar king drive though and about 6 of the people working out of probably about 9 crowded around the drive through to get a good look at it! Felt good!

 4 Gary.

I feel the same way every time I jump into my viper...

...dukes of hazard stylie

This is the exact reason my viper owners get depressed in the winter months. It's simple Viper withdraw. And in my special case...I'm having it now.

Anyone wana hook a brotha up?

I agree with you 110% Gary. Even though my viper WAS 100% stock. I do feel very lucky to own one.

As a side note: I rented a vette for a day while I here in NJ. Vettes make a great daily driver, but it doesn't invoke the love a viper does.

Gary;

You have convinced me--Jason's giving my car the TT treatment as we speak. Simply can't wait. One other thing: I get a lot out of the discussions guys like you, Chad, and Twinvipers have here. Thanks much.

At least I have my health..... :bawling:

Actually, that's iffy too. In the words of Eric Cartman, "Screw you guys, I'm going home!"

Last I checked, going 170 on a public IS illegal.

Re: THESE CARS ARE SICK, WE ARE ALL VERY FORTUNATE...

I'm probably going to take the plunge in Late July or August sometime. New yellow srt-10. I thought I'd open the floor up as a first time Viper owner. Will I be happy?? What will it feel like on the highway when I see a beamer or a porsche, or an- oh god look-out... mustang. Hahahaahahahaha!!

Really excited

Re: THESE CARS ARE SICK, WE ARE ALL VERY FORTUNATE...

I agree Vipers are such an awesome car and we are all lucky to own them whether they are stock or not. I can remember going nuts everytime I saw a Viper and taking sooooo many pictures of them when I had the opportunity. After saving up for a year, I bought one 2 months ago, and I'm still on cloud 9! I'm sure Gary will agree with me, for the past couple weeks the weather is GA has sucked MAJOR ass and I've only gotten to drive my Snake twice in 2 weeks. Its going to Dodge tomorrow for the 998 recall, so there's another week i'll have to go without driving it. Whenever I get it back and the rain moves on, I'm gonna do some major joyriding
