It's funny it took so many people this long to come to the correct answer....

What other tuner has been battling Heffner in the V-10 Nats.....What other tuner has copied the old S/C systems, and taking Jason's Novi kits off of customer's cars.....? And what tuner has a video on their website, glorifying the accomplishment having one of their blower cars taking down a Heffner TT at the strip...?

I dunno, maybe they are copying Jason and telling everyone they are in fact better, even though they are actually running the exact same shit...?

Jason, I dont know you or anyone at Heffner, but damn, just by reading all of your other posts and how others thirst for the Kool-aid you make, I thought you would've handled something like this in a private manner.

To be honest Here, Heffner has only one Race Victory at the V-10 Nationals and that is with Chad's car :thumb:

King Heffner has made some fast cars but he has not proven them to be a winner on the track outside of Chad's car which was impressive to say the least.

he has a few 9 Second cars but so does every other Tuner.

as for the blower system Im pretty sure Jason did not start out using the NOVI 2000 as this was the set up Doug Levin Made famous, and I have never seen two blower set-up look remotely close unless installed by the same tuner or the out of the box Paxton kit :thumb:

Here is how I see it...

The Viper Discussion Priority Chart:

1. Big power viper owner that is willing to put it on the line.
2. Small power viper owner that is willing to put it on the line.
3. Viper owners that just keep it parked in the garage.
4. Non viper owners.

If you are in the first two catagories, feel free to put in your .
If you fall in the last two catagories, it would be wise to just watch and learn, because you probably have nothing of value to add to the conversation.

A fine example of why the VDPC should be implemented around here...

You act as if Heffner was the man to beat at the V10 Nats. last year. Wrong! He only won one the last one of the year. You say they copied the "old SC systems" Wrong again! Their setup is quite a bit different than Heff's or Levin's etc.... Same blower different bracketry, fuel system, tuning etc... You are right their have been customers go to them and have their Heffner SC sys. pulled off and done different. Must be a reason for that. No one has copied heff's setup. There is only so many ways you can plumb one of these turbo systems. Actually, It would be hard to tell the difference between Jason's and any other tuners from just a picture.

I like Jason and think he is an awesome tuner. But he should be careful tossing accussations like that. Maybe thats why he has not came out and named names.
Anyone wonder why this came out now?????? Seems to me that when Shank got his car back showing his UGR TT Jason would have said something then. Their was plenty of opportunity. Actually, prior to the Bradenton race UGR already had a TT setup on Aarons car done and ready for the tuning.

So Jason if you are talking about or accusing UGR then step up and say it. No sense wasting everybody's time. I think someone is hearing steps on the ROOF!

Actually it was a fine example of just how lacking in any logic the VDPC concept has. My example made just as much sense as yours which in fact was none. Turn in your badge in the Participation Police, it's not in your job description. You're one of my hero's on this board Gary so lets not argue this one, your position is not defendable. Peace :thumb:

OK, so we are on a VIPER board, right? You are saying that VIPER ownership and VIPER racing experience have no effect on the ability of an individual to make an educated contribution to a discussion concerning VIPERS? There is no need for further discussion on this matter.

Yeah, that sounds about right to me. I personally don't see how having the money to afford a Viper in any way qualifies you to comment on a thread that deals with turbo system design and has nothing to do with driving vipers. You can be knowledgable about vipers and turbos without owning any, just like you can be a viper owner who is still an asshat who knows nothing (just look at Tanked).

The physical construction of the turbo system will hardly ever stand to be truely unique... an excellent builder stands out by using superior materials, superior craftsmenship (component clearance and quality welds, etc), superior knowledge leading to precision selection of turbochargers, correct balance of supporting modifications in ancillary systems (ignition and fuel delivery). and most importantly proper selection and excellent tuning of the engine management. These days physically building a turbo system for a complex vehicle is no miracle.

Now I see why no Viper tuners ever show off their manifolds/turbo layout... if they are so sensitive about what the intercooler pipes look like, I cant imagine how much they would stress if someones manifold that mounts the turbo in the same exact, extremely crampt, only available space on the side of the engine, looked alike. Cause if your not going crazy like SVS and Paolo by putting them in the front... theres only one spot for them.

I think Heffners reputation is outstanding enough that the last thing he needs to worry about is someone running some intercooler pipes the same way... just keep up the good work!

WOW!! Just got back in town from my first weekend off in over a year and I come back to all this nonsense. First off I could have not said it better then above <phunk>. Jason why didn't you call me if you thought we were coping you. If you have some kind of problem with me maybe you should have been a Man and called me! I can tell you your wrong about what your thinking. And about the race in Florida... I have a news flash for you.... Ryan's fabrication was finished before that race!!!! Goto 6speedonline.com and take a look at Ryan's pictures..... look at the dates of the post ... you will find out that they were taken BEFORE the Florida race!! So let me get this strait ... you are pissing and crying about pipes that leave an intercooler that goto a throttle body??? Dude I feel sorry for you!! Get a life!!! When the design was done I wanted the most direct way to the throttle body from the intercooler and that's how it worked out... I cant believe what a cry baby you are being!! The real design is hidden away under the car... How many SRTs have you done that made more than 1200 rwhp?? If I were copying you I would have not made anymore then you have!!! You say poor design on our first turbo car?? At least our motor stayed together, unlike yours!!! Please stop making an ass of yourself.. Maybe you are drinking heavily or something.. Maybe your mad thinking that all the Turbo jobs im doing are supposed to be yours or something... What ever it is GET OVER IT!!! You might want to call next time... You might not want to turn this into a pissing contest!! Call next time..
