Ok V-10 Nationals Plans for 2005

Ok to be honest I have been burned out from racing due to Bull crap stuff as well as a overloaded work schedule but lately I have been missing the action, especially after all the talk of 7 and 8 second vipers being created.

If this works and is supported it will be a great time to close out the year.

Let us start in Ohio and work on 3 other races through the fall and into winter. the last race is already scheduled for Bradenton. ALot of people have built cars for the Racing action and I think we will have an increase in attendance if this happens.

Ohio in AUgust
Race in septemeber
race in October
Race in November
Finals in December

? is 1 race a month t0o much? maybe reduce down to every 6 weeks?

who is in for something like this to close out 2005

No points just break down the classes and keep the race fair and run? post up guys and lets see what we can make happen.

Once a month will not be attended IMO. I'd suggest something more like: Aug (Mopars in OH), Dec (Bradenton), March (TX2k6)

That is a lot of racing in a short amount of time, David. I have a lot of work to do for that shot at world domination.

Let's keep all races in Florida! When we bring tourists here we Floridians secure our benefit to not pay State taxes

Besides, Florida is a nice vacation place!

If I had my way, everybody with a Florida tag would pay $50 at the stateline just to use I-75 (or we could just ding individuals like Chuck got LOL)

Ya, the tolls are ridiculous here in FL. But, if you go through the Epass at roughly 140mph, they don't seem to work so well for some reason. Go figure!

Shreveport la. was a good place to race with after race action at the casino. Florida, Texas, La, Ohio spaced out from 45 days to 2 months apart, 2 classes, stock and built.

We do, you must notify every GHP when a Floridan crosses the state line because there is every GHP and his cousins and nephews with radar guns trying to hand out tickets way more excessive than $ 50.00.

It was the best race I have ever been to with the Viper. It is an excellent event and a great way to finish the season.

I'm planning on being at the Ohio race in August.

I also plan on doing better than last year at the Ohio race.

That is too much in my opinion. Having 2-3 months between events lets everybody recover and reload for the next race. A more aggressive schedule will just result in less racers and burnout for the guys who try to do it all. Only go to tracks that are proven to be Viper friendly and that are fast. The season can start in Aug/Sept and end in the spring of the next year. Summer is too hot to race and many are busy doing family and vacation stuff. Just my dos centavos ...
