Looking at the pictures of the viper im having shipped here, (93 viper) there are no door handles... and no locks? do you have to open it from the inside? how do you lock it? do the windows just snap on? sorry but please fill me in.
Lol I dont have the car with me, I'm going by pictures. So I think these are legit questions coming from someone who hasnt seen the car in person yet.
Ok so the door locks... why? you have to reach inside to unlock it? And even if you had the window on, you could just snap it off? and then reach in and unlock it? Why have locks? Unless - I'm assuming they all come with remote entry from the factory? Do they all come with a nice factory alarm? or recommend upgrading?
noob...please send us some pics after you wreck it..lol take it from me I crashed mine recently and it wasnt pretty...please be careful cuz they are a handful and always be pointed straight when you get on her

I have a 12 second camaro, and have owned 4 other camaro's...I know how to drive a car.....
I just dont understand the doors because I have never opened one? Is that so hard to understand? Its just like me asking you about sex with a female... you would have no idea...
Vipers weren't made to be everyday drivers back then. They were meant to be a fun weekend car. You reach in to open the door. And yes, anyone can do this. If you want to be secure, go get some hard windows that lock and a hard top.

How much torque does you 12 sec Camaro put down at the rear wheels? If you have never opened one, how do you know you want one? Do you drive your 12 sec Camaro on the street?
We here at the only site dedicated to Viper awareness are only trying to provide a public service here. We have seen a multitude of Vipers wasted by a driver that "A)Knew how to drive and B)Could handle the power"
You have obviously never driven one so don't get cocky sonny!

What Tom said,,,, the viper ain't no 12 second "c"-word. YOU HAVE NO CLUE what yer getting into.
I agree with whoever said "this car will be wrecked"
Hell, I don't even own one and I think you should back off. No flaming? Then you start flaming people yourself? Whoa! Don't ask for it if you don't want it. Welcome aboard. Wrap it around a tree, whine about it here, and get ready for the flaming to begin. I can't wait for the fun to ensue.....
Sorry I thought the viper community would be a bit more friendly to a new member who doesn't know much about the car. I don't appreciate you questioning my driving skills because you dont think I can "Handle it" for the reason being I'm just not sure how the door works.....
Somehow me not understanding the door and window turns into im going to wreck it? (coming from someone who has never seen it up close). That is the stupest thing ive ever heard. I dish some flame back and now im the bad guy? It's a joke.
I always loved vipers, now that I can affoard one, I bought one and it is coming in two weeks. I just dont understand everything about them HENCE IM ON THE BOARD ASKING FOR HELP. NOT RUDE COMMENTS.
As for my camaro? It puts 405 TQ to the crank. No thats not as much as a viper, YES a viper is faster and obviously going to be different to drive. But im going to wreck it... beacuse I have never seen how the door is opened. Wow good educated remarks I see you guys know your stuff...
Background: I had my mechanic friend go over the car throughly and test drive it for me, for its in another state. He gave me the thumbs up and I know its a good car. I just dont much about it, or how it works. That does not make someone wrap it around a tree. It will be a garage queen anyways so I will not have to worry about the locks but I was curious and thought I would ask anyways before the car got here. Wish I didn't ask though.
Wow, a 12-second Camaro. At what, 105 mph? A 12-second 1/4 time and you think you know how to drive. You have no idea. Stay out of the turns.
ViperDays is coming your way in July. Sign up and find out how little you know about driving.
12 second camaro / 12 second viper
Different yes, but they share alot of the same characteristics.
They are fast, lots of torque, and you dont just mash the gas around a turn. I dont drive a civic, I think I understand how a rear wheel massive torque car works. Hey I know where the gas tank is, I guess that makes me a professional race car driver huh?
welcome fool. now that you see we are not your members only combover group of high end bucket garage quuen wannabes, come join in the fun.
as for the "i know how to drive...bullshit", thatll get you into trouble every damn time, do yourself, no, do all others a favor and pretend you do not know how to drive and then, youll drive a viper well, its a different beast, its a car, yes, but..fuck it, youll see once you get into it. as for 12 seconds, *sigh*...
anyway, im not flaming you, im welcoming you, so, if skin is thin...
congrats on the new bucket and enjoy it, it drives like nothign else and most of us here have had every type of car you can think of, from old to new. the viper is in a league of its own. oh, my wifes bucket does 12s
oh, and 93s, snap on windows, alotta nice torque :thumb:
