running temperature

Can anyone tell me what the normal running temp should be of GTS operated in a hot climate. Just bought a 2002 Final Edition. The temp gauge shows around 190-200 but will climb when stopped in traffic.

Also the idle revs at a stop are about 500. Is this normal? Car seems quite happy at these low rpms.

Thanks
