They are getting ready to get started... Slight rain delay kept them back 45 min for the drive... But they are on the way. We expect things to get underway in the next 30 min...

The cars are just coming back now from the 30 mile drive as of 7:30pm ....Now they will have a cool off period and then racing will began.

Joesph Dell is nestled among the Hot Rod photographers with his new high powered digital lens ..... I am sure he will get some optimum pictures.

After approx eight runs of the competion..... Jason Heffner has the fastest time yet with a 9.01 or 9.1. It was hard to hear Joesph because of the burn outs and cars launching, he was right on the edge of the track.

One of the competitor has spewed antifreeze onto the track........ they are currently doing a track clean up....... but they should be up and running soon.....

Jason had the fastest single run of the night @ 8.62, prior run was a 9.28 and their first run was 9.01 . It was an average of the 3 runs.

They had some stiff competition, one their competitors runs was a 8.75 and I do not know was his other runs were.

Chad and Jason are probably in the top 5 ...but at this point I do not know the results.

Yeah, I almost forgot that this is on pump gas! 8 sec on pump gas is just crazy.

Just got back. what a night! We left before the awards (b/c it was taking WAY too long) so Jason either came in 1st or 2nd. There is more drama than that and right now i have a ton of photos to go through...

It was great to see everyone! photos forthcoming!
