what are my options?

For superchargers, will the VECII work on any application or split sec? Or will only certain ones work for certain superchargers? I am installing a Vortech, so will a split sec or VEc II work, or will I need to go with a AEM? Are these my only options?
Thanks!!

Re: what are my options?

VECII will work with any SC set-up. In fact, you can even piggy-back a VECII with a split-second with an AEM! But that gets confusing (and redundant).

BTW - What Vortech did you go with? a JT Trim? that is the closest one that is reverse rotation to a paxton... but not quite as much flow... Paxton flows 1700 cfm... I think the J Trim is 1400 or 1450...

good luck!

I went with the JTY trim, 1600 cfm from SVSi....so the VECII will do the job for sure?

Re: what are my options?

I dont want to buy an AEM if I dont have too..some people have said that I am looking for problems going with a Vortech SC since not many Vipers have them, is this true, or as long as I find a good tuner that knows what they are doing, I will be fine? Thanks for any info or help!!!!!

Re: what are my options?

a SC is a SC. you won't have any issues. find a good tuner and you'll be fine. it is all just the same physics... air + fuel = power. more air + more fuel = more power.

a computer just helps control this. you'll need to take care of the fuel system, but other than that you'll be fine w/a VEC2.
