supercharger wideband?

Is wideband a good thing to have for superchargers and is it needed? Are any of you running them?

If you have a conservative tune it is not necessary. It is very informative and good to have just as extra insurance if you pay attention to it.
Much like a oil pressure gauge or water temp gauge. They are great to have but if you are not looking at it constantly damage can still occur.

I got one for shits and giggles installed,... Kinda useless, because I have a 800+ RWHP/TQ Conservative Tune.. But eye candy nonetheless..

Re: supercharger wideband?

actually, if you race you need one. if you don't know how to tune then don't bother. but you have the information you need to change settings on the fly i you have a WB... and that is an important thing.

Even a "conservative" tune can go out of "tune" when the weather changes.

I had an _extremely_ conservative tune going down to bradenton and if it weren't for the WB and some adjustments I'd made, my motor could have been hurt.
