Im pretty sure that your car Chad is making quite a bit more than 1300 RWHP..... quite a bit.

Chad, you should have kept your mouth shut. I guess you are a glutton for punishment and have this coming:

The first PC/JV set of #'s is running about 2 PSI less boost than your 1220RWHP /1210 RWTQ dyno sheet, the second set of PC/JV #'s is running 1-2 PSI more than what you ran for the 1220/1210.

Before, I thought that mine were spooling too quickly and falling off too quickly. BUT, if you really look at the graphs. mine really has just WAAAY more area under the curve earlier, and really does not lack all that much comparatively speaking at the upper end.(Nothing a good cam like the one you've got couldn't help me as well....Mine is just the same one from the supercharger setup....)

Pretty interesting huh?

The columns are not lining up like they did when I was writing this up, but your #'s are the diminutive ones that take a while to get up there on the far right........

Even at 2 psi less we are ahead of you until slightly past 5,000 RPM.

Now take into account the auto/4th gear OD on a mustang dyno............Hmmmmmmmmmmm

I will not even speculate how much power this would have measured on a dynojet.

Chad, you were out of line to even start this thread.

Then you respond with, Well,

"It's all in fun as I'm sure there isn't a person on the planet that thinks the yellow car is making less than 1300rwhp or 1500rwtq."

Is this the reason you started this thread? To have everybody re-assure you your car is making more?

All I did was list the facts on my signature and you had to go and start this thread.

Your insecurity is very unbecoming and your pompous attitude has been pissing me off lately!

Myself and Jim spent so much time designing and building this car and on the first day of running reasonable boost with fat ait to fuel ratios, we eclipse your 8.75 @168 TQ # by 300 RWTQ.

This response is warranted and you should step off bitch!

P.S. If you did not know you had a cunt this morning, you sure as hell do now!!!!!!!!

Re: \"The Most Powerful Viper Ever on a Dyno.\"

I've just been catching up on some of the goings on of the site. Congratulations Paolo on all of your accomplishments. It looks like all of the hard work is really starting to pay off. I was reading about your car and see that you were dynoing the car in overdrive. I remember some of my Supra buddies dynoing their cars in 5th gear in the past. I think that if you were to dyno your car the proper way, in the 1 to 1 gar instead of overdrive you may be unpleasantly surprised with the results. On the Supra's running the car in 5th on the dyno would tend to exaggerate the numbers by over 100 rwhp and sometimes several hundred rwtq. The turbos liked the extra load from the tall gear and since the load was so great, the torque numbers were unreal. The problem was that no matter what the dyno said, the cars would always fall short at the track and on the streets. I hope that your car proves me wrong. What you should really do if you wish to obtain a fair comparison is dyno your car on a Dynajet (spelling?) in the correct gear. We're all looking forward to seeing what your car runs at the track. The season is now upon us. Do you have any plans to get the car to the track soon? Anyhow congratulations again.

The only things that Chad has on Paolo right now are hard numbers from the track and a chassis that has been proven to work on the track and on the street.

Paolo, run some hard numbers and then shit talk all you want. And pull that damn auto out of the car - with performance like you have, that tranny's an abomination. Your car deserves a six-speed.

Re: \"The Most Powerful Viper Ever on a Dyno.\"

We cannot dyno Paolo's car in any gear but 4th. In third gear the tranny downshifts on its own upon application of throttle. You can electronically lock the car into 4th however.

On our dyno, I have never seen much difference between gears.... 3rd, 4th, 5th all seem to give the same RWHP for all the supras I have done. Obviously the higher gears may give a little more torque because of the extra load on a Supra but in Paolo's case, 3rd or 4th would not have made a difference. Those turbos are fully in by 3400 in 2nd gear, 3rd or 4th.

Clint, I have not yet gotten to run the car at the track.

I did not start this thread to stir the pot. Chad did.

I am just defending myself.

End of story.

You are right about the 6-speed. I just smoked the shit out of them with the blower car in less than a month. I can only imagine what this setup would do to the 6-speed. Chad's 6-speed and clutch combo give me hope though. I already had the auto in there by the time I learned of Chad's awesome combo holding up at the strip.

If Chad could just have run those #'s about 8 months sooner I would never have put forth the effort to do all it takes to make the auto fit.

I have to say I love it. Like I told you in the PM, it is so smooth and consistent.

I think that is way more important to the driveability of a car like this.

YOu know the blower car would sometimes be dangerous when you would be getting on it and the clutch would not disengage at an inopportune moment making a move that needed to be smooth like exlax turn into Preparation-H==>(Dr. Evil,"Preparations A-G did not work but....."

LOL, I was just giving you shit but I hear you; with HP levels where you guys are at, there's no room for error. Besides, you can build a customer car to insane levels with a six-speed if they want it; it's important that you enjoy your car.

Keep up the great work! :thumb:

Yes I would have to agree that on the hole, preparation-H feels good.

Now don't change the name from CPE TT project to operation ass-cream......
