Anybody know anything about these headers?
They seem pretty big, but they look really good.

The guys that own that place are friends of mine. Velocity that is. I'd ask them about others. I wouldn't want anything made by Elite. That guy is a douche bag.

Elite = out of the Viper (and other) tuning businesses. I wouldn't touch their shit with a 10 foot pole. Too many horror stories.
Just look at the 'show car' they built to give you an idea of how good of a tuner this guy was. Make sure you're by a toilet when you view the pictures because there's a good chance you'll puke when you see them.

Clint, you've got it all wrong! His hoods were made for blind folks, which is why they had braille all over them!

Re: Anybody know anything about these headers?
So is it just that the headers are not good, or that Elite is no good to do business with?

Carrot, LOL!
Mark,
Elite was no good to do business with and I'm assuming that their work ethic and quality issues extended over into all areas of their manufacturing process. The headers might be a great piece, but when you're spending a couple grand, 'might be' is unacceptable, at least in my book. Given the issues many had, it's not worth the risk.
Do yourself a favor and watch the boards or look for someone offering a used set of B&B's or Belangers; that way you won't have doubts about the quality and customer service of your product.

Thanks Clint. That's what I'm doing, but nobody seems to want to sell their B&B's.

You ARE on the right website though! Those guys did all the stuff on my SRT. I've known them for years. Good people!

I love my Belangers, but I have heard great things about the B&B's as well. You cannot go wrong with either.
PS. Check with Jon B at Parts Rack for pricing. He has always taken the time to answer my questions, and the service is fantastic.
