About two weeks ago, I called and placed an order and paid for by cc, Moton suspsension kit by Archer Racing. A rep, John, stated they have it in stock, ready to go via UPS, and that it would be shipped the next day.
I had called 4 days later, 7 days later, 3 days ago, and today, only to be told the same thing....I'll call you back with the tracker number. It was supposed to be drop shipped to my tuner at UGR, but they have not received it at all. I have a feeling I am getting the run around. I have been around the block before with getting screwed over by a couple of tuners in the Porsche arena, and I get the same gut instinct about this.
They will not return my calls, and no one will give me an answer when I do call. Does anyone have any experience here with this company?
I am sorry to post this on a public arena, but forums like this help consumers like me who are receiving bad service.
The Chad, thanks for the sarcasm in a time of need.
I have been in constant communication with Kevin at Underground, and I also have added more items to the list like Quaiffe rear diff, more polishing of pipes, custom heat wrapping, Motons (WHICH I AM WAITING FOR)and some other tuning changes. The car has been there for 2.5 months, and though I"m anxious to get it back, I really can't see its potential with the frigid temps in Chicago. I have a good feeling about UGR, and I am pretty sure I will not be let down.
Well you should be ok, both Archer Racing and Archer Motorsports (brothers btw) are good people. I don't know why you're getting such shitty service though.
Did you talk to Erik Messley (EMI Racing) before going with the Moton setup? I would at least call him and get his opinion on suspension setup first.
If Archer can't be bothered to return your call, I would cancel the order. Thats a lot of cash to get the run around.

Ryan, make sure you are specifying JOHN ARCHER.
Bobby has always treated me the best! Bobby has gone above and beyond the call of duty every time we have done business.
Maybe you should call Bobby and get the product from him instead! Let me know if you want the #.
Ryan, think about bringing something to the silver state classic in Vegas, around June. We've got a big chi-town group and you'd have the
most serious fun with any of em!
Have you been at the Glenview bus much? We're moving soon.
Is it worse than your 6 week TT taking many months (and counting)?
Chad Chad how long did heffner have your car??? No need for those stupid ass comments. It's that type of poking that pisses people off. Smack is fine and fun to talk but do it on the right thread.
archer seem like good people. ive only seen them at the V10 nats and other than possible price gouging in BG (i think they quoted a guy 150 bucks for an oil change IF he supplied the oil, LOL) but, that may be heresay. (maybe they just didnt like him)
regardless, they have always been cool to everyone at the event(s)

Hey Brian, how you been?
How long did my car take? You'd be surprised but I won't elaborate. And who cares? He built the nastiest full-weight street car on the planet. That is what really matters.
And if my remarks pissed you off, too bad. Quit your crying already. Seriously.
Shank, good luck. I'd cancel that order and talk to someone that will appreciate you biz.
They fuckin wanted $200 to swap REAR wheels and tires from Redsnake's car to mine! TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS!!! No tire mounting or anything, just swapping. That's when I decided they were cunts. It's like paying $10 for 10 cents worth of popcorn at the movies.
