Jason Heffner just called me from Florida. Chads car (in the witness of numerous board members) ran an 8.88 @ 164 mph

This was with a 1.42 60' time and pulling 131mph in the 1/8th!

Congrats to Chad and Jason Heffner!!!

Great statement, the "PERIOD" that is.
Top of the world to Chad and Heffner. Way to plan and build a Viper that leaves no doubt. 6 speed in the 8 sec. club is also another great accomplishment. No nitrous, no light weight doors or hood, way to go guys.

This is really going to suck, to run a 9 sec. 1/4 and get beat by a full sec.
