is this mod worth the money? smokin seems to find it funny to rub it in my face that he has one, and i dont. but if the mod isnt worth it, i shall laugh that he wasted the money. anybody know? and if they are worth it, where to get them?

General concensus I that it is worth it IF you have the tranny/clutch out for another reason.

That way you don't have the seperate labor charge and you are right there anyway.

Benefit? - Able to rpm faster

Disadvantage? - Can't hit it as hard on launch. The heavier flywheels allow a harder launch.

BTW, I have the Fidanza.

Doesn't it allow the car to settle back down to idle quicker than what the stock one does. No perf. gain, but it is somewhat annoying for the car to be up in rpm,s when you are at a light.

PROS
1. There is a weight reduction, which will help. Although it may be minimal.
2. Less rotating mass, so the RPM's will climb faster cause it will take less hp to turn the flywheel.
CONS
1. Car COULD not run as smooth at lower RPM's
2. Prolly wont do jack shit for quarter mile times.

I am not speaking from experience here, just stuff I have read on the internet over time. If your tranny is being pulled anyways, I say go for it!
