Congratulations Chad and Jason! Driving your own car to break a bunch of records like that must be an incredible feeling. Not only that but doing it the second time you take it down the track! WOW!
I remember when Jason built my car a couple of years ago and it was the quickest and highest horsepower, boost-only supercharged Viper for about six months. Jason builds awesome cars that are fast, quick, kings of the dyno, kings of the track, highly streetable and on, and on.
This is truly insane power. And to be able to get it to the ground is even more impressive. and on a 2nd pass driving the car, no less. Congrats on the numbers to back up the #'s!

What half shafts are you using? I'd imagine this as the only weak link in the chain...
It is truely amazing that you can put much power down to the track in a 6 speed car and the owner drives it that fast on his second pass in the car. truely awesome Chad..... I would have loved to see your expression after getting the time slip.
Heffner built bottom end and a 6.0 eighth thanks to the bog. Expect five-eighties, eight-eighties and 170 in Bradenton.

There's going to be all kind of sheeeit breaking in Fl. It may come down to whose car can live. From my last dragstip adventure: my shafts are in for repair now and the new differential crossmember and new differential cover have arrived. My posi hasn't been working for a while either, so I need to dig into it. I'm hoping there is some sixty foot left on the table with a working posi.
That is very impressive to jump in your own car and make a pass like that the 2nd time down the track. You must be beside yourself. I bet it was hard getting on the plane and leaving. 2 thumbs up and much respect is yours.
