I need gears

Rich, that seems like a pretty random ratio. Is there specific reasoning behind it? Why not just go with 3.45's?

FYI, I'm guessing Heffner could probably find some for you.

I could also use some 3.31 gears. I've got 3.73 and they suck when making just shy of 600rwhp

The 3:31 is a stock Vette ratio. The diff on the C-5 was a Dana 44 and a few Viper owners tried the slightly steeper gear with good results. One of the best features of an OEM passenger car gearset is greater design attention to keeping gear whine down.

I believe the Viper is a Super 44 that uses more or less Dana 60 sized gearsets. And I think the only Vettes that ran a 44 were the "mighty" ZR-1's.
