Note to the OP that the 2001 ACR original equipment Dynamic Suspensions shocks were known to leak oil and nitrogen charge and need to be rebuilt after a while, which can be considered expensive. That is probably why a previous owner switched to Aldans on your car. I did find that the ride and handling was good with the DS shocks on my ACR after I changed out the OE rear springs. When it came time for the second rebuild, I decided to move on to something else.
