Anyone have a service manual handy?
Can you tell me what cylinder pin #3 (red/yl wire) on the black connector at the pcm controls. I know it is an ignition wire, but can't recall what cylinder it goes to.
Thanks
John

John,
Use a .22 or a .23 whatever works (Mr. Mom Quote)

Thanks Original. So it drives # 3 cylinder?
I am having a misfire code(302) which is cylinder # 2 and was wondering since I tied into that wire if it was the culprit to my misfire code on cylinder 2.

Each coil will drive two cylinders and #3 coil doesn't necessarily mean cylinder #3.

Re: Anyone have a service manual handy?
#2 and #3 coil drivers are responsible for cylinders 5, 8, 9 and 10. So if you have a #2 misfire, start looking elsewhere. Could even be something as simple as the plug wire not fully seated or a fouled plug. Good luck.

Re: Anyone have a service manual handy?
I am with ya on the plugs. I added the spray and dropped to colder plugs and with my 2001 pcm I expected some misfire codes to start popping up. Car runs great and the code pops up at cruise usually around 1500-2000 rpms in 4th or 5th.
Thanks
John
