What's "The Best" stuff to use on both ??

I tried that No touch tire cleaner last year............ Worked OK, but it left a greasy finish on the tire. And, if you leaned over the tire to get at the motor for whatever reason, I'd have that junk all over the front of my pants.

I also was told that there's better chrome cleaner out there than the stuff you buy at Auto Parts stores. What are they ?? Fresh chromed rims for my '96 GTS, and I wanna take good care of'em.

Plain water or some real mild car wash.

Always wash then when they are cool. Never after you have driven the car.

Wax often, use wax without any cleaners in it.

For tires, can't really help you. I use some kind of Tire Wet but it is greasy like you said. Shines more than my paint thou.
