Silicone heater hose problems 99 GTS

I went to put on my hoses only to find the 2 from the coolant tubes don't fit well. The one from the heater core seems short and has to be pulled tight against plug wire loom. The one to the heat control valve is 2" long and is missing a bend. Don't know the manufacturer but I bought them from parts rack. Sent Jon an email but I am wondering if anyone else had any issues? The rad and other heater hoses fit perfectly.

Didn't even know they made those for a Gen 2. I use OEM. Readily available, cheap, fit well, and don't leak.

Why are heater hoses available, but radiator hoses not? I scoured the e-interweb and dealerships for OEM radiator hoses with no luck.

No clue. Ask dodge I suppose.

I also suppose when dodge runs out of them they too will be NLA. Not that it will affect me. I'm through shopping for cooling system parts.

Maybe you got a wrong hose?

There were two different sets between 96-00 and 00-02. Apparently 00 was a wild card.

Here's a comparison of the two sets.
