Blew my Kevlar clutch all over the street last night!!
My buddy behind me in a big block vette said that his girlfriend got all the sparks on video. I launched my Viper hard with my new Novi 2000 set up and hit third when all hell broke loose. I am using a Kevlar clutch with an Alum. flywheel. The Kumhos stick good , so which flywheel/clutch combo is good for high HP Vipers? I have a new stock clutch in the box in the garage , but I think I need something much stronger now. Would a stock flywheel work better now that I have higher HP? I need to order something tomorrow. Spray..............

You got one, go ahead and put it in for right now. I have 700 RWHP and 800 RWTQ and am using the stock clutch with no issues a of yet. Good luck,

Spec stage 3 is pretty good, make sure you put 500 break in miles on it. I am running the stage 5 which holds up good for high hp, but the clutch engagement needs getting used to. Also running a alum flywheel that I bought from John B.

Running a spec 5, but it does take a lot of getting used to. Make sure they set the pressure correctly if you go this route because I know that they were grabbing to hard and causing hydraulic issues. Good luck and nice #'s! [img]/images/graemlins/drive[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/drive[/img]

OK , I have the Paxton Novi 200 and 99 RT/10 has the ROE supercharger! I will be posting pics and info on my new custom supercharger system as soon as I get her back on the road with a new clutch. spray..........

And just why would you think the clutch threw in the towel?????? I won't tell what it makes, I will let Mike do that. Spray's car is STRONG, put it this way, this was my first Paxton; I spoke to Heffner about a few things here and there and he said the car is above average on power.
