Installing T & D Roller Rockers...

Has anyone just installed them without measuring the valve height? Do I really have to remove and disassemble the cylinder heads, measure each valve height, and add shims or machine the stands?

Adjustable length pushrod

Use one to measure with

Try Jegs, they should sell them. Or maybe someone here can lend one out.

Check the stand height according to the directions. Then determine what shim to use.

Simms:

the instructions force you to pull the heads to measure. It is not needed, Jerome is correct, the adjustable push rod is a simple way to measure the required push rod length. The next step is using the shims to get the correct pattern on the valve. The key to success is getting the adjuster to operate as close as possible to one full turn down (.050) from full up.

Mike has installed a bunch he is a good source.
