Question Re: Brake Feel

Hi Guys,

I've started to have a braking problem. There's a lot of pedal travel with really no feel until I hit the very bottom of the pedal, and then the car stops hard. The pedal used to be firm all the way down but now it's like there's a large dead spot until the brakes are fully depressed. Is there air in the system? Or is the master cylinder going out? The brakes have been bled before with some increase in feel, but the problem keeps returning.

Thanks,

Question Re: Brake Feel

If bleeding the brakes didnt help, and you cant find an obvious leak in any of the brake lines/calipers, then swap out the master cylinder and see if that fixes the problem.

And of course make sure you have enough brake fluid. :thumb:
