I also think Smokin is out of hand in regards to Barry. All Barry did was comment about the bog off the line that slowed down the car slightly and Heffner still went 9.56.

I also do NOT want to take any thing away from the beast that Jason Heffner has built Chad.
I am waiting as well as Chad for the beast to return home. I had a slight advantage over Chad in his previous set up..... I guess now I will have to get accustomed to seeing the tail lights of the TT.
Plus all us folks here in Florida are ready for some good news ....... we are getting tired of all the mayhem that nature has been unleashing on us recently.
When Chad car arrives, the state has declared it a state holiday ....banks will be closed, schools will be out and the mayor of Sarasota will be presenting Chad with a gold key to his new Bad Bubble-bee TT Viper.

While Smokin or any other person on this board has the freedom to post, jump in on post etc. maybe if both sides lighten up a notch. If Smokin backed away from badvenom by putting him on ignore he could do the same with TQ.

I agree.. This was a great run. The Viper drag racing community is pretty small and progress is slow. All the interest in the last year has really heated things up. 10.0sec All-Motor cars, the first 8sec pass, AEM and finally some bad ass turbo cars.
A full weight 6-speed car with no nitrous running 9.5s @ 155 is awesome (No offense to brother Rohn). This is especially true considering how long Heffner has been involved with vipers. For years tuners have been throwing 300-400 shots of nitrous into stroker motors and never running this quick or this fast. So Congrats on building a fast car and making a nice pass.

I'm also looking forward to lining up with this car. On one hand, you can turn down the boost if the track is slick. On the other hand, the blower car in the next lane builds boost in a more progressive manner. So.. How many tracks can hold that massive torque hit from the turbo car on the 10.5" tire? If both cars make equal peak power, which will be more controllable on a less than perfect track? I guess we will see!

Thanks Norma, just remember, as usual I had it first, with a smaller motor! [img]/images/graemlins/smiles[/img] I talked to big & little E and they said they were testing my car and it got 25mpg in the city..
