Spoke with Kevin this morning. 2ManyToys car won the unlimited class (built by Kevin and UGR). I think he said it beat the TNT car. A lot of cars broke evidently, I know Boggs for sure. Hats off to Underground Racing. In the first four races they have placed 2nd twice and 1st the last two races without breaking anything at any race. I would say that is impressive in anyones book especialy for a guy that just stared tuning Vipers less than a year ago. I can't wait to see what his TT set up does. Anyone seriously looking for a dependable builder that will not break the bank should at least give UGR a chance to earn your business . Matt
I concur..Boggs car should run like a bat out of hell...Not sure anyone has this TT setup totally ironed out yet torque. I have a sneaky suspicion that UGR will be a quick study though.....I think Kevin just likes trying new things and wants to have a forced induction car and a TT to run. Matt
"I don't think Brian Anderson was as nervous when his children were born as he was while watching Kevin drive his car in the finals. That was the TNT car and Kevin got him on a hole shot." by Shelby3 (VCA)
Congratulations to the whole Underground Racing crew! Can someone give us some other details of the race? How did Roof's car do on race day? How about jkracer's car? Haven't heard anything.
COngrats To Kevin and Brian. Underground Racing has Taken over the SUpercharged cars especially on the track!
My car has a problem we detected early and RSI is already on it! that is why I chose them to build the car. When there is a Problem it is good to know that your tuner will take care of it!!!
the car is ready for Florida, Please come one come all you all will Fall!!!
On race day my car ran 3 9.71's the day before it ran 1 and a couple 9.8's our first pass was voided by a track error which was a promising run but did not count! Car was averaging 119 MPH in the 1/8.
Thanks guys!! UGR has built me a MONSTER The car got better every run. It's gonna take me some time to learn how to handle this kind of power. Kevin did a hell of a job getting it down the track. It was spinning through 4th hard. He had a hard time getting traction in 2nd and 3rd. The car would start going sideways when the boost came on in 2nd and he kept having to let out. Same thing in 3rd. We switched to bigger tires (thanks to SW) and still had serious traction issues. the last run of the day was the straightest. The car bogged off the line then picked itself up and ran like a raped ape. On an earlier run we had a 9.81 with a 1.71 60' letting out in 2nd and 3rd due again to traction issues and also battling a strong head wind.
Overall the car ran strong and has plenty more left in it
Any of you guys considering modding your cars give UGR a call they out performed my expectations by a long shot. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
I would think that 119 in the 1/8th would bring at least a 9.50, if not better.
Also would think it would have gone around 153-155mph.
There is no doubt that Davids RSI car will be in the finals for the last race of the season. SW was running the car on low boost so the car does have 9.5 and better runs in it. Underground has entered the unlimited class and is not messing around, great job underground.

Matt, Underground is coming on strong and appears to be the most reliable game in town for the V-10 nationals. For a blower car to go as fast as the twin turbo cars on less than 15 PSI, ala no nitrous, no water injection, that is incredible! Kevin's 9.7 was with a 1.7X 60 footer. If you take off 3 tenths for a decent 60 footer, the car should go a 9.4! Kevin might end up helping me finish up my twin turbo car in the next little bit as I am not very knowlegeable or experienced when it comes to wiring and things of that nature. Kevin also hooked me up with Keith Mile's Accufab throttle bodies which I greatly appreciate! Keith sent them out to me immediately and I got them right away! Thanks Keith! From talking with Kevin, I know about some the top secret twin turbo he has built/is building. People are going to shit when they see that one! Hey congrats on selling your car! :thumb:

What have you done to the suspension of your car, or is it stock? Are you getting a lot of squat on launches/shifts, or is the car spinning much more easily because of stiff stock suspension?
I would think that 119 in the 1/8th would bring at least a 9.50, if not better.
Also would think it would have gone around 153-155mph.
I think the MPH of 149.8 is great considering we had a 15-20 MPH headwind and 95 degree summer heat?
there will be a video posted soon that will show the run that did not score nor does it count for that matter but the video will show the car pull the wheels in First and hit second and pull them again and carry the front tires for a while! It takes time to learn the Twin Turbo it is totally different.
Underground Racing Proved to be on top yet again! they are quickly becoming the guys to beat! these guys have several cars in the pipeline so things will be heating up!!!
Jeff
The V-10 Nationals will come to New York area when the people from New York support the races elsewhere. right now there will be 4 races dedicated to those who support the race now.
1. Florida
2. Texas
3. Ohio
4. North Carolina
these 4 always bring cars to every race therefor we have no choice but to keep the races in these areas.
Roof, just an FYI, but we managed to pull over 75 cars at $100 each for a local drag event here in southern cali (We only wanted 70 cars and closed registration the day it exceeded that.) Granted, it's a mix of cars, but it's encouraging and hopefully this can work out to some kind of Las Vegas V10 Nats event early next year.
