Need help with Blue Viper paint scratch

I have a '96 Blue/White Viper and just got a door scratch. Its like nothing I've ever seen before and was hoping that someone could help me out. A door scraped across my paint. It did not go through the clear coat but, it changed the appearance of the paint to a lighter shade of blue. So now where the scratch is, it is a light blue instead of a medium blue. It is not rough to the touch. I tried to rub it out with a mild abrasive without any success. Is it actually a abrasion on the clear coat or did the pressure make the clear coat separate from the paint, cuz thats what it looks like. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

If it does not buff, a reputable body shop should be able to wet sand it and if need be, spot in some clear coat and buff. Sounds like it went through the clear and just into the first layer of paint. Not a huge deal for a good shop.
