cant decide on aftermarket exhaust Cat back

Hi guys so been searching here and you tube and looking to change oem exhaust to something more sporty my god the stock sounds so boring for a viper.

I do want to keep oem manifolds and cats.

so not sure which kit to do or justv do center muffle delete. any thoughts would be great..

I have a Corsa catback that I am happy with. I also have headers and Roe high flow cats .
Sounds good and the side sills stay a lot cooler

Meet up with some locals and figure out what you like. Cheapest route is muffler/cat delete, but it'll have drone.

Start with rear muffler delete. Why do you want to keep the oem cats? Go with Roe high flows like PG said if you want/need to have cats. Those two mods will give it a much better sound. Then decide if you want to do more like a cat back or just replace the resonators with something more throaty.

time frame no rush.
price say 1200 ? not sure. I dont see why some bent pipes should be more on just a cat back. I may just tig up my own system out of SS.

as to cat swap dont see the point since I am not really after HP gains here. this is just a street car.

corsa I dont like brand . sounds great but fit and customer support is garbage . I had alot of issues with my vette. so thats not a option for me that brand

Borla/Mopar (same) and x-pipe in place of rear muffler delete, sickest sound on a Gen II imo. Especially with headers and no or high flow cats. Cars are so restricted and choked stock, sound like shit, I don't know anyone can drive one stock, night and day difference letting that V10 open up vs driving such a badass car that sounds like a shitbox stock lol

The point of the cat swap is you're gonna get better sound (and more HP) than with the OEM's on there.

The best exhaust advise I was given was to eliminate the cats. This alone will change the sound and improve performance at almost no cost.

I'm.in the process of accomplishing this. Seems as straight forward as it gets. Remove side sills, cut, weld. Done.

Has Mr. Whiskers completed his welding certification yet?

Muffler delete will give you a nice sound and rumble without being too loud. Ran my RT/10 like that for 10 years and sounded nice with the rear window out.

Those cats get hot. After ten years with the muffler delete I finally replaced my cats with spirals. No regrets. A little louder, about 5dB. Sounds great spinning it up through a tunnel.

Anyone have experience with the Billy Boat cat back? I have BB system on my Vette and love the sound. A bit louder and much deeper than the other systems for same car. Perfect fit as well.
Would like to hear any input on this system and how it sounds.

Will sound good but will drone. Corsa is best if you don't want drone.

I lot of the drone on any system can be reduced by adding an X-pipe or H-pipe.
