Here you go folks.....

It was rather easy. Just make sure you line them up real careful so you don't have pedals at different angles.

Drilling the holes for the top bolts on the clutch and brake was a bit tricky because the drill and the dash would hit and it was had to get the right angle.

I did break one of the bolts so I have to replace that one...not sure what happened...I was tightening and didn't think I was giving it too much and "snap"

The bolts provided are very soft so be careful or you will twist then right off.

Just curious...have you driven the car since you installed them? How's heel/toeing? Any particular difference in how your shoes move across the pedals? Very subjective, I know...just curious?

I had to remove the bottom dash panel for room. Toby, they turned out good!

I have not driven the car. I did sit in the car...moved my feet around to see if everything was ok...it was.

I did mount the gas pedal as far right as possible though. It just seemed too close if you center the new piece on the existing pedal.

I don't want any surprises at speed. Its easy enough to hit both.

These pedals are the closest pedals of any car I have ever driven.

I didn't know that drilling was required, is there a installation guide? The tip about mounting the gas pedal to the far right is a really good tip -thanks toby!

The way I installed them was to drill one hole....mouth the pad...tighten the bolt just enough to keep the pedal in place yet loose enough so you can adjust it...then drill the other holes with the pad in place. Install the other 3 bolts. Tighten from behind and not with the allen because the allen will strip easy (again..soft bolts)

I figured it would be a lot easier than marking all 4 holes...drilling...then hoping they are all lined up.

This method was good as well for lining up the two pedals so they didn't look "off" in relation to each other.

the problem i have with the stock pedals is that my foot rubs the carpet on the right side of the gas pedal already....did it seem you had that problem after moving the pedal over more?

I removed the carpet all together.

The first time I got into the car I noticed how the carpet messed with the pedals and it came out ASAP.

I have not put in back in since.

Toby, get yourself a set of the heavy Snake Oly mats. They dont move. Super heavy and thick, NICE.

ok...I took the car for a drive and didn't like the gas pedal at all....I found myself hitting the pedal as I was braking almost every other time. It actually made me nervous.

One time I was doing some aggressive driving and found myself pressing the gas and the brake at the same time. It sucked. I came right home...pulled the gas pedal off and went back out and everything was fine.

I think I will machine the gas pedal down so its the same size as the black pad and see what happens.

In summary...the gas pedal is just too big for the area and could cause a real safety issue.

These pedals are designed for heel-toe driving/shifting. If you don't practice this method, or care to, these pedals are a waste. Unless your just going for look, in which case your better off grinding the offset off the gas pedal - what Toby recommended. In any case, I would not recommend these pedals to a new Viper owner. It took me a good couple months to get used to the offset location of stock pedals, let alone racing pedals. Remember, the whole point of these pedals is to be able to hit the brake and gas with the same foot, 'easily'. Hence, heel-toe shifting.

I've had these pedals for a couple years now. They ARE designed for heel/toe. If thats not your thing, or you have wide feet, you probably don't want a kick on the gas pedal.

They install very easily, just do one hole at a time, bolting up each time and using the pedal to guide the drill for the next hole.

My gas pedal is simply screwed to the stock pedal, not bolted. I'd advise starting it to the right, then drive around and see how you heel/toe. If you need more kick, move it to the left a bit. Repeat until you have it dialed in the way you like it. It WILL take some getting used to - but my heel/toe shifts take a fraction of a second these days - they do work.
