Re: Turbo vs. Supercharger

Gerald,

It went 147 in the heat at 83 degrees. It would have definitely picked up 3mph when it went down into the low 60's. As soon as I fix the rear , I promise you a 150mph pass in the 9.60 or even a 9.50 range.

JH,

I wish I could be there to do it with you...

David,

A big thanks for putting together another great event. Eventhough I was having clutch issues, the event was well worth the trip and the gathering of great people could not be replaced with any time slip!

It was great seeing everyone again. Twinvipers, I'm glad we were able to meet each other, it was great talking to you.

As for my drag results, pathetic! 1st and only pass, spun the hell out of the ET Streets off the line, had trouble getting into 2nd and when I finally got 2nd the Throttle Cable grommet pulled through the firewall! So there I went idleing down the 1/4 mile and up the return road.

Hopefully we can line up soon. I think it would be a great race that everyone would want to see. Thanks again for the hospitality...

What was the best time the Underground S/C only car ran ? You know I would have had them covered...

That car only went 9.90s.. Remember that car is STOCK besides blower and fuel system ! $15k upgrade. It has gone 9.75. As far as thinking you had it covered??try to keep it together for the next race and you will get your chance at it. It Will be faster. Just a stock motor for now.. :thumb:

Re: Turbo vs. Supercharger

Another big thanks to Underground Racing for fixing my throttle cable and for bleeding my slave cylinder in hopes of fixing the clutch.

I just ordered the Feramic Clutch Kit from Chris Bergemann via Horsepowerfreaks.com today. I'll keep everyone posted on how that clutch holds up.

I'm not worried about that car...Remember, I went faster in 25 degree more heat. Why didn't you run it during the day ?

So, my output shaft broke. I was unlucky as you were very lucky in the finals that you caught someone sleeping. Luck does play a big part in racing...

This was only my 3rd pass in this car. Big numbers to come, I promise you that.

Re: Turbo vs. Supercharger

I don't go to win a trophy(they were nice though). I just go to run numbers...

When I can make it to another V-10 Nat's, I'll gladly line up with you.

You went a 9.80 in 60 degree weather. I went in 83 degree weather.

How come you guys didn't run in the day time ?

It's all good either way. I don't need any titles. Just havin some fun...

If you guys ever make it up to Englishtown, let me know.
