We need a cheap top like the vettes have that fits in the trunk in case it rains.
Playing origami with the current top is not fun!

I've been working on a cloth emergency top for a while... just not enough time to complete.

At this point I have "mocked up" my template, I just need to get someone to stitch it together and test fit it??

Re: Stowable hard top

A local Viper owner here in Michigan has a commercial sewing machine and fabricates parts. Contact me if you want to hook up.

Re: Stowable hard top

Talked to Phil yesterday.... he can't log back on to the alley, maybe MP can fix it for him. He is creating a new user name and will get back on here. He said $50 a set for the 2 inch lowering kit and he has 4.

I'm back! The 2" kit That I have is from north winds. It is excellent quality, but very high cost.($179.00 plus shipping) Anyway it gave me a idea of my own design. They are made of 304 ss. I just wanted to make a few sets of these kits for tall Gen I owners. I don't want to do this for a living, I JUST WANT TO GET SOME OF MY MONEY BACK. They will sell for $50.00 if anybody wants one.

That's a great deal! Unfortunately I want a 1" kit that will allow me to continue to "move" the seat. The northwind kit is $250 if I remember correctly and that's just too much (x2) for me.

Thanks for posting Phil!
