Trey had asked me to list who I thought was coming to the PowerFest. The following is a partial list of the cars/drivers that have told me they were coming. If I missed you, then go ahead and chime in.
Jason Heffner - 2 to 5 Vipers in various classes including Gary Almonds 844 rw hp SC car, Jamie Furman driving
Albert Chlouber - 9.63 @ 150 House of Power RT10
BTR Tom Welch - 9.92 @ 144 Viper in power adder 1, possibly another 9 sec BTR car
Tony Armour - 10.4 @ 137 Venom 500 plus Roe SC (power adder 1 class)
Jim Gerdina - 10.1 NOS/Propane stock GTS
? Rohn Kittel - 10.1 TNT GTS ?
Stock Viper GTS - Best Viper Pilot Contest
Maxwell Dodge and David Weaver may bring some Vipers
Clayton Kresge / Standard Collisions Viper
Clark Stegall (will attend but without Viper)
John Page - 21st Century Muscle Cars GTS (motor 2)
Steve Dumler - 8.95 LPE C5 TT (not confirmed, but may compete)
2-4 800 rw hp plus Supras from AZ, FL and Texas
There are more, but these are the guys that I can think of off of the top of my head.
If you were at the VOI drags, most of these cars were there. But many of the cars at the VOI drags were not nearly as fast as they are now. This will be the single largest gathering of raw Viper power ever.
I will further update this list on a weekly basis as entries come in. Thanks.
Thats about 30 cars right there. I know of another 15-20 that have expressed interest in competing. I expect we will have 50 - 75 cars competing. Including 1-2 8 sec cars, a dozen or more 9 sec cars and many 10 and 11 sec cars.
You need to get out more just kidding. A pro tree is when all three yellow bulbs come on at once then the green. It is the way almost all heads up racing is done by the pros and on down. There will be 4/10's or 5/10's of a second between the yellows and the green depending on how the tower sets the tree. The other way is where you get a yellow/yellow/yellow...3 different ones starting at the top and going down then the green. A pro tree lets you have a reaction time including rollout,he go as SOON as you see yellow come on .....a full tree is a guessing game, as in you know its coming soon but when do I go to not red light ???
fyi....rollout is the time it takes your tires to roll out of the starting beam and is a part of your reaction time.
A guy that is slower physically but has a car that leaves better can have a better reaction time and vis versa.
Tony, we will run the .500 christmas tree. Thats what most of us weekend warrior drag racers are used to. If you want to do a heads up race with somebody and go on a pro tree thats cool too. I know somebody with a Viper auto that might run you on a pro tree.....

Do you guys ever watch drag racing on tv ? John Force would laugh at a full tree. I don't even know when was last time I even saw a full tree at a heads up race...except VOI and we won't count that. We are not bracket racing these things and its not the 1970's anymore.
Ok John, but your going to have to put some more...a lot more boost/n02
through that Venom....you were talking auto to auto. Correct ? Now I need to figure out how to get two cars there. SEE MY AUTOMATIC HERE: yes its 3100 lbs 10.5" tires and muffled and tagged. http://users.catt.com/~tarmour//camaro.html
