What\'s the hot setup?

Wondering what the hot set up is for these cars.

Block:stock or does somebody make a aftermarket?

Crank: Moldex,VGX and Henry Velasco? Any websites?

Rods: Oliver,Manley?

Pistons:JE/SRP? Anything else?

Headsoes anybody make a after market piece or do you just go through the stock piece?

Intake Manifold: again re-worked stocker or aftermarket?

Injectors:Conventional V-8 stuff or Viper Specific?

Throttleboddies? Accufab? anybody else?

I guess that'll do for now.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Before everyone starts to answer: Do you own one and, if so, what year?

No, but I want to know everything about them. So when that great day comes to fruition I'll be ready. Now about the replies I'm getting, it seems like everybody goes the easy route on making power? I like to hear from somebody that makes big power on the motor, or maybe 1000+ on a built turbo/supercharged motor?

Thanks for all the info.

Making big power on a turbo is an easy way out???? It takes a lot more tuning to get a turbo setup right than an all motor setup. Tuning a naturally aspirated car is a walk in the park compared to some of the turbo tuning going on right now. Hardly an easy way out.

Re: What\'s the hot setup?

I'm not questioning the tuning of a car with the turbo, I'm saying it's easier the force air into a stock motor than it is to start from scratch and build a new motor with out any unnatural assistance. By no Menes do I question engine tuning, I own a supercharged/ nitrous vehicle and it's a pain in the ass to get it right.
