i know i should walk before i run(lol, pick up my car before buying parts) but im a huge fan of slammed cars. i know the viper rubs on alot with stock ride height but the eibach prokit only lowers it 1 inch. is it really really bad stock or do you think you could get away with lowering it and being extra careful? my old z06 was literally on the ground and i saw a few viper pics that had the prokit and they looked good. stock height is just, well, unsightly. whats your thoughts?

I lowered mine with Eibachs and it did get rid of the 4x4 look but I would still like to go lower. I want mine to be sitting on top of the tires. I have waited though because I want to do 19's or 20's......

I lowered mine with Eibachs too and I think it looks pretty good. (not to mention a host of other suspenion mods) I stayed with the 18" stock ACR wheels though.
On a different note.... SnakeBitten is bringing his buffer to Texas this fall to work on my beater. Either that or he sleeps with Ouday!
Re: how many of you have installed lowering springs?
im sorry guys, by rubbing i didnt mean tire to fenderwheel contact, i meant dragging the front end on the inclines and scraping the chin. how bad is it after lowering? also, is 210 cheap for the eibach's? thats about the only deal ive seen on them so far.

Make sure when you have the tech check your shocks, mine had four different settings when they were taken off. He adjusted them to a firmer setting and installed the springs and what a difference that made.

I have the eibachs on my car. Car looks great, I did the shock adjustment before the spring installation had an alignment done and I hate the damned ride. I think the only way to do lowering correctly is to step up to a full ACR suspension setup or go penske/moton.

I'm running 19's with Eibachs ..I love the way the car handles .
My tires are 345's and they rub occasionally ...I think If I had 335's they wouldn't rub at all.
