Should the factory hardtop have stripes to match car?

I couldn't find one of these when I was looking, 97 B/W RT/10. To my knowledge, no RT/10's came with stripes from the factory besides this particular combo.

Should the top have the stripes on it as well, if it did not come that way, that is pretty queer.

Well, the hard top SHOULD have stripes to match the car, unfotunately it did not come from the factory this way. The '96 RT/10 had the same problem in the white/blue stripe color combo and the black/silver color combo. If you ever see any hardtop on any of these color combos that has stripes, they are painted on afterwards. I guess Dodge figured that seeings it is an RT, the owner is not buying it to drive around with the top on, so why waste the money painting it?

That color combo is probably in the top 5 of desirable combos.

This model/color combo was my first choice, when I find out so few were made, I decided to go with choice number 2 (yellow) instead of paying top dollar for a 6 year old car.
