If I drink 10 cases versus 1 case, my odds do get better, I think that's the point he is making.

BTW, I went to drpepper.com to see about getting free entries, and you can that, 1 per day per envelope. However, you are paying for a stamp, and a stamp the return SASE with the free entry, not to mention the envelopes and time. Just the stamp prices alone total 74 cents per "free" entry, so you might as well just buy a 12 pack and drink it!

Not to get too technical, but the odds do NOT change whether you drink 1 or 10 cases. It's kind of like flipping a coin and landing on heads 50 times in a row, the odds that you'll hit tails on the next flip are still 50/50.

This is not like flipping a coin. Everytime you flip the coin you have 2 options, if DP made 10million cases with 10 winning cans and if 9million non winning cans were sold then that means the chances of now geting a winner are 1 in 100,000. The overall odds to win would still be 1/1mil, but in reality you now would have a better chance.
