im getting a vibration (not real bad but its there)in my clutch pedal when im shifting. mostly when im above 2K RPM's....it seems to shift just fine though. This started about 4K miles AFTER i put the roe clutch rod shortener thing on...

any ideas before I put it on the lift.

chuck tator said $750-800 to install a new one.

Re: Clutch info

Its definitely not the roe linkage if that's what you're thinking. The tator quote is right on. The throw out bearing could be going. Otherwise, don't know what would cause a vibration. How many miles on the clutch total?

Re: Clutch info

23K miles total on the car and im pretty sure the clutch is original....I really wasnt thinking the roe thing but it is coincidental...

tator is the man for my car...Id never question a price he'd give me.

I was thinking T.O. bearing too.

Re: Clutch info

Well, 23K is in the possible range. Some people cook em quick, others nurse them forever. I replaced mine earlier than that because although I still had meat on the clutch, it was completely glazed over from heat from the track and I wasn't getting much friction. I replaced it with a kevlar faced one and its been perfect ever since.
