Are there 2 sizes of Mobil 1 oil filters?

I went down to a local auto parts store about 2 weeks and picked up a few cases of mobil 1 and got some Mobil 1 filters free. They are filter # M1-204 and are gray in color and are approx 3 1/2" long. While I was looking through the products from Parts rack I noticed he had Mobil 1 oil filters that were white and looked to be longer than the ones that I have. Could they be a higher capacity filter?

Don't know but the 204 filter you have is correct. I hear of a new filter with higher capacity with a screw on replacement core. Much higher capacity and flow rate, higher cost.
