GaryA did an awesome job delivering my car safe and sound yesterday ...I felt like a Parent that was seeing his adopted child for the first time.
I got up at 5:00 AM this morning to take it for a spin..And my hands are still trembling.
I've driven some Very fast cars before, but nothing could have prepared me for Heffners 1000 TT. Initially I was beating on it with 5 PSI of boost , Lighting the tires up all the way through 3rd gear.
After about an hour I decided to hit the fun switch and kick it up to 10 PSI of Boost..I'm not embarrased to say that it scared the shit out of me.
I literally spit my gum out when I nailed it , I was in 3rd gear at about 3000 RPM and It was like a 300 Shot of N2O had kicked in...I was doing 140 MPH at the blink of an eye.. There's no ride at Magic Mountain that's this much fun .
Everything about this system is Awesome..From the sound to the performance. Several aspects of the car really impress but what puts it over the top is how much of a sheep in wolves clothing this car is..In the morning you can hit the track and put down a few 9 second runs and on the way home you can cruise by the Ritz and Valet it for lunch ..Simply amazing !
It ildes as smooth or smoother than a VIPER that just came off the factory line..But the minute you get on the throttle it becomes VERY apparent that there is nothing stock about this car.
You truly have the best of both worlds with a Twin Turbo .
