Clock Spring????
Anyone know what a clock spring looks like in the steering column of a viper for the airbag? I had to have mine replaced the other day and the part was 145 bucks. Seems kinda high but I dont know what the hell it is! I guess I should have asked for the part but I didnt.....

Light blue, plastic piece right below the airbag...not a servicable part...

Totally worth $145 for the part...If you know how to operate a steering wheel puller, it takes about 30 minutes to install...So you got poked to the tune of $500/hr...



Time to find a new dealership...

doesnt even take 30 minutes. you get fucked for the part though, viper tax. i still got mine with the steering wheel/AB since i replaced it with a MOMO. i guess it is nice to have turnsignal shut off though [img]/images/graemlins/supergrin.gif[/img]
