Hey Roof - sorry to correct you but you might have the quickest boost / water injection Viper (9.63) but we got the fastest boost only 6-speed (152.2 mph).

Hey Moundir - yes we will be there and will be ready to spank your ass on the highway as our first order of business. We will arrive on Thursday and can take care of business on Thurs nite if you are in town then. If you want to start backing out of the race you asked for by stipulating no race gas, only water injection allowed and BS like that, then just back out now and save yourself the embarassment in BG. We dont need to humiliate you on video to prove anything. Although I would really enjoy it none the less.

Yes Roof check your video - we showed you that there was no NOS in the car on your video tape right before the 9.8 @ 152.2 pass.

David, with all due respect, water/methanol injection accomplishes the same thing as nitrous; ie cooling the intake charge allowing more timing and therefore more power.

MPH in the 1/4 is power. I know John's TT's have run 151+ at every event since Texas. How close to 151 MPH have you run since then?

ET is just a function of the driver and how well the car is set up to drag race.

I have run consistant 146-149 several passes since Texas! My last pass out was a 149 MPH with the others on the day 147-148.

Do not get me wrong here I am a Huge Turbo Fan! I hihgly respect Heffner and HMS Turbo cars. But I have noticed this at the track. (Please No Flame) It seems that as the day goes by the Turbo Cars get slower? why is this? In Florida Sal Car (Awesome car) went 9.72 and it seemed to fade as the day went on? Same Boost level I think but the ET and the MPH seemed to drop? I have seen HMS do the same thing and he as well as HEffner has had Issues with clutch and Racing stuff so maybe this is the cause?

on the other hand it seems that the blower cars and NOS get faster with every pass or at least run Consistant???

Any Reason for this?

one thing for sure, If heffner and Hms is is we will do some roll ons on the streets of BG Blower VS Turbo!

with that said the Turbo's are very valuable on the street becasue of the Noise!!! can't go wrong there.

With all due respect my water injection gave me a gain of 20rwhp total, so I guess it is the same as a 100 shot Come on now let's not make foolish statements such as Water injection = nitrous. Hey Roof let's up our water shots so we can make an extra 25rwhp [img]/images/graemlins/laughing.gif[/img] I dont know if you have noticed but Almost all of Dlm's stage 2 and 3 cars make in the 850rwhp range without it so take that bs somewhere else

Roof - here is the benefit that I see water injection gives you: With it you run 148 mph pretty easily. Without it you run about 142 mph. So I would say that it is worth at least 5 mph in trap speed any way you want to cut it. Nothing wrong with that as everybody wants to make their cars faster. But dont tell us you "boost only". Be honest and call it for what it is - water injection on your SC system has been worth at least 3 tenths and 5 mph - true or false? Either way, congrats on a very fast car!

As far as consistency goes, you just have not payed enough attention to our TT car at the track to know what it does or does not do. At the TX V10 Nats every single run we made was in the 9.7-9.9 range with the exception of one run when we broke the diff. We ran 6 passes in the 9's that day.

Moundir - sure we will run you on pump gas, street tires and no NOS or water injection from 60-160 how does that sound? We are running stock Michelin's.

No flame here serious Questions? I am in Love with the TT I am just not sure it is the best set-up on the track! I think overall on the street it will be for the sake of it doesn't wake the neighbors! LOL

TT to me is still fairly new. John and SVS have been doing them the longest and not sure if there is enough information available to accurately COmpare the two long term?

Then again The Blower cars have just surprisingly surpased all previous expectations! It took years to accoplish what happenned in the last 6-8 Months. so maybe the TT will suddenly shake the Viper World! I know it has the ability! I just want to see it done!

Water Injection should not be considered NOS!

However it has been a tremendous help on improving the car! My best trap prior to the Water Injection was 144 MPH this was also before the System was upgraded to a new Motor and "Pro 4 package" so I am sure the extra power is in fact a combo of things not just the water.

In Bowling Green we will pull the fuse on the Water Kit and run the car and see what the difference is. this will give us a good base line since the car has never been ran without it since the new Set-up.

See you guys soon! I am working on a secret deal at the Go -cart track concerning a special Water hook up so I can be faster on the Go-cart track too! LOL
