Yes, they shut down the site and they are now busting the racers one at a time that were involved in the race. They don't seem to care that it was filmed in Mexico. They tried to get me at my house but I dropped it into second gear and left them behind. Damn authorities! EAT A DICK!

I saw them trying to hide out in a van across the street, so I am typing this from my portable PDA. I guess I will just sleep in my car tonight. After hard boosting for a few minutes, it gets warm enough in here that I should be good for the whole night. Luckily I had some extra trail mix bars in the car, so I am OK on food. As for Mexico, it's apparantly because the DVD is for sale here in the USA -- kind of like if child porn is legal in another country, you still can't sell it here in the USA. If I go to jail for more than 3 years, I donate my car to Geezer, since he has a lowly miata.

Manny, I really hope you're kidding, but if not, I don't think there is necessarily anything illegal about selling a video of an act filmed in another country that would be illegal if performed here. Obviously you're correct about child porn but the images themselves are banned here, not just the acts. I don't think a video of you blasting down the autobahn at 120 mph would be illegal simply because you couldn't do it here. Has the People's Republic of Kaleefornia enacted a statute banning images of street racing? [img]/images/graemlins/sad[/img]
