Gen III Intake vs. Gen II Intake -- Question

Do any tuners out there know how the Gen III INTAKE flows compared with the Gen II INTAKE? Would it make sense to add a Gen III intake to a set of ported Gen II heads?

I haven't heard much about the new manifold in particular, but it's probably safe to say that they didn't step backwards performance-wise with the new one. I don't even know for sure whether or not it will fit correctly.

The newer intake is not as good as the Gen 2 intake in terms of making power.

GTS-Dean - I thought the same thing, but from what I have been hearing the Gen III intake is worse that the Gen II. John H's comments support this too.

John H. - Thanks for the confirmation. I had heard the same thing from several people.

And the intake on the Gen1/2 is a choke point in and of itself...
