Another best time...beating buddy and several corv club mods in 5 runs with best 12.319 @ 117.8 w/ stock 99RT 10K tires, SPARE, softtop, 250 ballast. Then it was off to gingerman for a twisty time and just a couple spins. Dare I say..., but the next best time could just be both SEPT 7-8 racing/VOI8 for days of a greatest bestest timest...
I'm surprised you didnt go down the track playing your new 200lb worth of new stereo equipment Great Job G, even though you sounded like an excited little bitch who just got tickets to see Justin when you called me

haha, Can you beleive it Mike? All the crap in the back, my 250 lbs ass in the seat and the wing. Not too shabby huh? Next time I need to remember to floor it in 2,3, and 4th gears. The last run I only remembered in 4th. It's because I'm used to driving on the street and I can't do that. No b.s.'ing either. I was about 90% throttle each time and slowly got into it as my RPM's increased. I need to floor that baby every time... bam bam bam bam, Man this is addicting.
I saw your time in the video and I was like...."DAYUM!!!" Street tires and all. And this guy was against drag racing!
Great job out there. Now, get some more traction, and after that, you're gonna want more power....it's inevitable.
Congratulations! Totally awesome #'s for first time at the track or any time for that matter!!
I am sure you driving your car everyday and street racing probably helped you above and beyond others driving cars with that much power. I am sure you are thoroughly familiar with handling your cars power from driving it all the time and know its traction limitations and shift points.
Very nice Gerald!! Sounds like you are hooked!! Let the addional modifications commence!! What the hell, it's only $$$$$$$$$$$$
Thank you again for the video clip!
I was talking to Gerald before he made his first run and he was all nervous. He wasn't happy about his first time down the track, but I encouraged him to keep at it. The next thing I see (a couple of hours later) Gerald has a handful of timeslips and is looking them over. I had to laugh and told him that he's definitely officially addicted to drag racing!
